Where can I get free condoms?

Condoms are free using a C Card!
If you are under the age of 20 you can get free condoms from various places in Bath and North East Somerset by using a C Card.

What is a C Card?
A C Card is simply a credit card sized card you are given if you have had a discussion with your School Nurse, Youth Worker or a range of other professionals about the use of condoms. This card can then be exchanged for free condoms.

• Condoms can help prevent you from most Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) as well as preventing pregnancy
• Make sure you use a condom with a British Kite mark or CE mark
• Always check the expiry date on the condom packet
• Take care when opening a condom packet not to tear the condom
• Make sure that the condom is the right way up before rolling it on
• Squeeze the tip of the condom before rolling it onto the erect penis - this is to make sure that there is room for the sperm and air doesn't get caught in the teat
• Only use water based lubricant with condoms - oil based products such as massage oil or lipstick can cause the condom to break
• If you have had sex without a condom, you might be pregnant or have a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI). Some STIs have no symptoms so it is important that you are tested.

Remember ... you should never feel pressured into having sex. It should be a decision that both you and your partner make together. It is illegal to have sex if you are under 16. Health professionals can provide confidential sexual health information, advice and contraception to you whatever your age if have decided to have sex.
